From stream ecology to plant and wildlife adaptations to climate and geology, there are lessons in nature everywhere one looks. Join Jocassee Wild Outdoor Education for an unforgettable day of adventure and discovery as we explore Lake Jocassee on a pontoon boat, along the shoreline, in the woods, and in the water! We begin our fun and educational journey at the main boat dock at Devils Fork State Park.

Jocassee Wild Child Programs

With three dates scheduled to coincide with the Spring Break of local school districts, this special limited offering is for teachers interested in learning what Jocassee Wild Outdoor Education has to offer for their classes. Jocassee Wild Child Adventures are designed for teachers and children grades 3-6, but the subjects can be tailored to all ages. Kids experience geology, local history, stream ecology, the water cycle, wild life, species diversity, habitats, and adaptations, and so much more! Join us... the Jocassee Gorges are the PERFECT outdoor classroom!
